How much is shipping?

We offer FREE Shipping on orders over $59. For orders under $59, it is only $7.95. The FREE Shipping promotion applies to the US 48 connected states only.

For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, we offer FREE Shipping, however, the delivery estimate is 2-13 business days for delivery. Please contact us for a quote if you need expedited shipping.

When will my order ship?

Most orders ship same day if the order is placed by 11am CST Monday - Friday. Some items may require longer handling times, which will be stated on the product page, under Availability.

I need my item fast, what are my shipping options?

We offer expedited options during checkout; 3 Day $19.95, 2 Day $29.95 and 1 Day $59.95. These options will display at checkout.

What shipping service do you use?

We use UPS, FedEx and USPS. Please provide a street address for faster processing.

How can I track my order?

We will send an email with the tracking number. If you signed up for an account before ordering, you may log in and check the status of your order. Once you receive your tracking number, you may track your order online at either USPS.com, FedEx.com or UPS.com. 

Where are the size charts?

Click the orange SIZE CHART link, located on the product page, by the size selection.

My helmet doesn’t fit and I used the size chart.

The size charts are provided by the manufacturers and are recommended to use as a general guide. Our head varies in shape and the helmets shape varies as well.  Although the size chart works for most customers, we cannot guarantee perfect fit for everyone. For example, if the head shape is wider than the shape of the helmet, then the sides may be too tight or you may not be able to get the helmet on. When can I expect a refund on a returned item?

Returns are normally processed within 1-3 days once received. Normally, you can expect your refund to show in your Paypal account after the return is processed. If you used a credit card, it typically posts in 1-4 business days. Debit cards maybe 2-9 business days.

Do you sell internationally?

Our website is currently set up for US orders only. We can ship some brands internationally. For the brands that cannot ship outside the US, you may ship those to a friend, family member or mail forwarding service based in the US. Then they can forward your order to you. If you wish to use a freight forwarder, we recommend myus.com. International payments can be processed via Paypal.com.

We do not collect duties. Please check with your country customs, if duties are due on your order before purchasing.

My item arrived damaged.

If there is any visible damage, please email us a picture of the damage. If there was shipping damage, please include a picture of the shipping box. Please contact us via email info@xtremehelmets.com or call us at 800-940-4633. Keep all packaging materials in case the mail carrier needs to additional information.

The item I ordered was in stock but now it is out of stock.

We fulfill orders first come, first serve basis. Our system updates inventory frequently throughout the day. Although it is rare that this happens, if it does occur, it is because the stock level had not yet updated at the exact time the order was placed.

Do you offer discounts to dealers/wholesalers?

Sorry, we are a retailer and do not offer wholesale prices. However, you are welcomed to purchase from our online store.

Can you special order replacement parts for my helmet?

We have many parts available for the brands we offer, that are not online. You are welcomed to contact us via email info@xtremehelmets.com or call 800-940-4633.

How often should my helmet be replaced?

The SNELL Foundation recommends replacing your helmet within 5 years. Or sooner if the helmet has a cracked outer shell, cracked or crumbling EPS foam liner. Also, if it's been dropped or involved in an accident. Not all damage is visible. Hair oils, sweat, sun, cosmetics, normal wear and tear cause materials to degrade and decrease performance. In addition, advances in helmet design and materials makes it a safe choice as well.

How should I store my helmet?

It should be stored in a cool dry place. Excessive heat can damage your helmet. It should not be left in a luggage trunk in direct sunlight. Many of us do this, but it is not recommended to hang your helmet on your mirror, this will ruin your EPS foam liner.

How do I clean my helmet?

We recommend cleaning your helmet with warm water and a small amount of mild soap (ex. drop of Dish soap). Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe clean. Do not use petroleum based solvents or cleaners, this may damage your helmet.
